The business was co-founded in 2003 by Rob Bielby and Stephen Sumner, both of these people have signficant
client and supply side experience in database marketing and multi-channel retailing;

Rob Bielby became involved in consultancy during the mid 1980’s following a retail career that culminated
in establishing a marketing department and working on special projects at H.Samuel.
Rob founded a business which was originally a new concept in retail, launching and selling Swatch and other
fashion watch brands in concessions throughout the fashion industry, the business became a consultancy
called “Retail Innovation” after selling the brand and assets to Swatch. He worked on a number of interim
projects for Sears, Mappin & Webb, Harringtons, Little Levis, Sock Shop and the launch of the loyalty
programme for the Football Pools industry. He co-founded a Direct Debit business to support Johnson &
Johnson
and its launch of Acuvue direct after successfully marketing the concept of Direct Debit in the dentistry
and vet professions.
